The Farmhouse Story

Welcome to our "farmhouse"!  

For years, we rented this  very cabin for vacation with my granddad.  He loved to sit in front of the fire, or drink his coffee on the screened-in porch.  We made  such great memories here, so when we had the opportunity to buy the cabin, we jumped at the chance!

Pop was a cotton farmer in West Texas for 80 years.  He was a tall, strong and proud farmer, who loved working the land.  At age 95 - yes, 95! - he retired, only because he had worn out his knee getting on and off the tractor.  Every day of the rest of his life, he longed to get back on that tractor!  He moved to Heaven shortly after he turned 97, and his love and spirit will be a part of our Farmhouse Cabin forever.

Oh, how he inspired us.  We dearly miss him!
